An unusual aspect of the Hen House is its poultry name, but quality seafood reputation. While chicken was the featured item during the 1960´s, the Warn brothers expanded the menu to include fresh seafood. The Hen House, with seating for over 400, is now the largest seafood restaurant west of Frederick. I have been to the Hen House on multiple occasions over the years. Whenever we are in the area or will be driving through on our way to another destination we go out of our way to stop and the Hen House!! Some of my favorites are their chicken (of course), the crab dip and crab cakes are sinful and I have dreams about the cream of crap soup! Regardless of what you order here you won’t be sorry! The view, the atmosphere and everything this establishment has to offer is heartwarming!!

Great Food, atmosphere, company, friends and family. The staff is very fast and efficient. Did I mention how good the food is? And Sunday brunch don't miss out on that. WOW!!!

we couldn't wait to get crab legs but they didn't have them. Decided to do the lobster, shrimp, scallops and muscles at a hefty price. Everything tasted the same. There was no flavor to any of our seafood meals It took forever for our meals . We were there for 3 1/2 hours Very disappointed. .
We ate dinner at the Hen House today & it was wonderful.. Beautiful scenery - we ate on the deck! They were out of a couple items but our waitress let us know ahead of time and told us about their awesome specials! She was very attentive and had a bubbly personality! We left full & ready for a Sunday nap. Thank you Hen House for some awesome crabs, and thank you to our waitress Kristen for the grand service! We will be back again next Sunday.
Really enjoyed supper with my husband at Hen House tonight. Relaxing atmosphere, great food. Our waitress Kristen was very attentive, and friendly. Many other waitresses stopped and said hello as well. We eat there frequently and we have always had great service and good food. The staff always make us feel welcome and at home. I highly recommend the Hen House for any occasion !
