An unusual aspect of the Hen House is its poultry name, but quality seafood reputation. While chicken was the featured item during the 1960´s, the Warn brothers expanded the menu to include fresh seafood. The Hen House, with seating for over 400, is now the largest seafood restaurant west of Frederick. The service was slow, no pickles for the cheeseburger. Burger was too salty. Did not add any extra salt !!!!! Never eat there again !!!!!💩💩💩💩🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🍔🍔🍔🍔

We had the best meal last Friday night when celebrating my dad's birthday. We had appetizers, noodle soup, dinner and great wine! Service was wonderful, food was amazing and reasonably priced, and the staff and owner were very friendly.

Dry, very dry Alfredo noodles with burnt chicken; serving cool and cold homemade (?) chicken soup, burnt chicken edges on the clump crab meat atop chicken breast. And charging $2.99 for a drink of fountain soda. Arrived at 6; drinks by 6:15, and meals served by 7. Why don't you update the ordering with computer pads. So tedius…….and your lighting kept blinking. Are you asking for another fire?
A new favorite go to place for exceptional food in Garrett County. Fried ribs, fresh made onion rings, fried chicken that is so superior to any other it creates a new bench mark. Generous adult beverages, portions are just right. And a great location, beautiful mountain view.
