While chicken was the featured item during the 1960´s, the Warn brothers expanded the menu to include fresh seafood. The Hen House, with seating for over 400, is now the largest seafood restaurant west of Frederick. Omg we got lost and ended up at The Hen House. We are foodies and I can't imagine better food anywhere. I owner took time to talk to everyone to explain his father's recipes on the buffet. When we walked in and saw buffet we were afraid it wouldn't be up to our standards. it place exceeded all our expectations. Next friday there is a Cajun buffet can't wait to go back to try the food. This is an hour from our home but worth the drive. Thank you for a beautiful location, personable staff, and food out of this world.

the food was great and the price but it was very loud
Hands down, the best fish and chips and crab dip I've ever had. Definitely get the chicken noodle soup as a side, it's from scratch and classic comfort food. The crab dip was excellent, didn't run into a single shell and came with freshly made tortilla chips. The fish and chips was perfectly done. Not greasy and over battered like most I've had. Kid friendly menu and they loved their grilled cheeses and fries. We came all the way from Berkeley Springs and it was well worth the drive! Will definitely be back
Delicious fried chicken and onion rings. Crab cakes and fish also very good. BBQ ribs were melt in your mouth delicious
The henhouse is an awesome place, I’ve been visiting the henhouse since it was on Barry Street in Frostburg Maryland. Awesome food then, awesome food now. Keep up the good work Gary and family
