I had a virtual assessment with one of the staff members here. I will not name names; however, this person could not wait to get off of the call with me. Once they found out that my availability was in the evenings due to me having 3 other children in school, they were dismissive. Never in my life have I been on a video call with someone who gave the impression that I was wasting their time. I wanted to cry.

I would give 0 stars if I could. I sent a company-wide email about inconsistent hours for full-time RBTs at Helping Hands Family, an ABA company. I worked at the Columbia, MD clinic. Instead of addressing anything I said, they deleted the email, pretended nothing happened, and had the regional manager/director Breck Stanley follow me to every room I was in today. Today was my last day as I walked out. If you plan to send your child here, they might not always have someone to watch them. I had to watch 2 kids at the same time... read more

Helping Hands Family provides excellent ABA services! This has been my families first experience with ABA, as my son was diagnosed with Autism at 18 months and all of the staff have been helpful with explaining all of the processes. We love our BCBA and all the RBTs that work with our son, everyone is super warm and friendly. It has only been a few months, and my son has grown tremendously in his social interactions and communication skills. I would recommend them to anyone looking for ABA services for their child.
