My family knew we would be listening to more from Heirloom Audio, when we listened to our first adventure The Dragon and the Raven! They present the Gospel message and a history lesson in an exciting adventure that we listen on the way to church, grocery shopping, and road trips!
Our whole family has enjoyed the dramatized versions of these wonderful GA Henty books! The audio-dramas capture the story and celebrate the noble character traits that the main characters display. Great role models for young gentlemen and ladies alike! And this is a great way to introduce a bigger audience to Henty's wonderful way of teaching about history and making it exciting. After listening to the audio-dramas, follow up with reading one of his books (or listening to an unabridged reading of one of the Henty books)!
we own them all WHY because we love them... MY 16 year old daughter always lets me know when the new one is coming out!
My son loves these audio's. He will put them in even for a 5 minute drive in town. Even us parents get into listening to them. These are very nicely done!
My kids are HUGE fans of the stories in the Heirloom collections. They love audio stories anyway (Odyssey, Brinkman Adventures etc) so when I saw these I knew I had to get them. We bought all 4 stories and I have not regretted my purchase. The kids listen to them over and over, at home and on the road. I can't wait for more to come out so we can get them. They are very well done and have some big names who have helped. I'm thrilled these are available for my kids. I even love the stories!!!
