Oh my goodness - the passion, the emotion, the excitement! Wow! I'm blown away by the vocals and music. So, so much better than a movie! My 8yo son has a wild, wild imagination and these audiobooks are simply another way for him to grow in his knowledge and understanding of history while at the same time giving him the freedom to express his creativity through his "I can't sit still; I'm acting!" play-induced monodramas. Anything that gets him excited about learning, deserves a 5-star in my book.
We love the quality of these audio dramas! The entire family listens and eagerly anticipates new releases!

If I hear an epic, on-the-edge-of-your-seat adventure, I know its been produced by Heirloom Audio productions! My family has used these audio adventures to save our sanity during long car rides and rainy afternoons, and to provide awesome entertainment that is also educational. Our whole family enjoys listening the the Heirloom Audio productions. They are adventure packed, character building, stories that hold our attention during our many long rides to soccer games and to visit friends. You can't go wrong with these. Our favorite is "The Dragon and the Raven".
I very much enjoyed listening to "With Lee In Virginia". I definitely want to listen to more of Heirloom Audios productions!
My children and I are fans of this new series of audio dramas. I would say beginning at 9 or 10 years of age and older. Perfect for reinforcing history with geography (social studies). High quality script writing, acting, music, sound, and editing. Good character building for boys and girls, adventure, drama, humor, and moral/ethical choices. Our family loves the Heirloom audio dramas. After listening to In Freedoms Cause the kids talked for days with Scottish accents like William Wallace. We especially enjoy listening to them as we travel. It makes the miles go by quickly and keeps everyone entertained.
