Our family loves listening to these adventures. It's not just for kids. My husband & I enjoy sitting down with all of our children & listening to them together. They are captivating & make these historical people feel so real & personal. With Lee in Virginia made us laugh & cry & caused us to view history in a different way.
We've listened to several of these audio drams; my children & I LOVE them. The action is great and captivating; the effects are so vivid it feels as if you are truly there! During a 'hurricane' in "Under Drake's Flag," my children were giggling and screaming to turn it down before we get all wet! We also love the integrity of the characters and their resolute faith in God. Way to go, Heirloom! Keep up the good work.
My husband and I listened to it with the my kids on a road trip and they loved it! Our oldest is only 6 so we needed to explain what a slave was and a couple other things. Overall it was really fun to listen to!

We first heard about "With Lee In Virginia" while listening to Glenn Beck on the radio. I ordered the audio book and put it in the car so we could listen while we traveled back and forth from school. It's been several years now since our purchase and we have listened to it several times, in fact, I've lost count how many times. These audio dramas are fantastic!! Very captivating and informative! We can picture the stories vividly in our minds with all the different sound effects and voices, and we are learning so much about the history! I love listening to them with my boys in the car while we are driving.
I love these cds for a couple different reasons. I love that they bring history to life and my family can learn from this history. My boys love the adventures and listen to the cds every night as they go to sleep. My youngest struggles to read but because they are audio, he can enjoy every story/adventure over and over again! Keep on producing them!
Amazing! Tremendous! Don't miss these stories that make history come alive and those with godly character be elevated as heros. My 5 and 7 year old girls listen to all five Henty audio son constant repeat My husband and I couldn't be more pleased for them to soak in this great experience and for us to enjoy hearing it repeatedly as well.
