We listen to these CDs when we travel. Not only does the time fly but we wish the trip was longer. These productions are so rich in history and in moral lessons. Buy them for your kids knowing you will love them just as much.
"Frog Fur" - That is all my kids need to hear to start howling with laughter! Our latest heirloom purchase was Captain Bailey's Heir and it has already been listened to multiple times (hence the giggles whenever that part comes on!). It all began with With Lee in Virginia. From thenceforth, The extraordinary adventures of G. A. Henty has been our family favorite taking over Jonathan Park adventures, and even some of our favorite audio books. There is nothing so endearing as hearing your five year old shout out, "come on, wildfire!" "Come on men, rise and fiiiiiiiiight!" Last year we added William Wallace to our homeschool library. Every time the CD ends, I get asked, "Mommy, can we get some more?" Well done!
