I felt pressured to agree to procedures I wasn't interested in pursuing at this time. Especially the second phonecall It was disappointing not to have a dental exam because I refused the X-rays. dental hygenist was lovely though
I am an anxious patient. It is important to me to spend as little time as possible in the chair. I was at the office for 1.75 hrs; in the chair for at least 1.5 hours. By the end of that time, I did not want to hear about root sealing or special toothpaste; I just wanted to get out of there. The gum exam is a downer: 1,2,1,2...4,5. I assume that 4,5 is bad, but don't know for sure. I prefer when the hygienist just poked around and made a comment on the chart without my hearing all the details. I was kept waiting in room for over 30 minutes to have my teeth cleaned. It would have been nice for someone to explain that. Music way too loud and not soothing or relaxing. I'm in more pain with my TMJ syndrome since the visit.

my appt was cancelled, but i was unuaware since the office left a vm on my wife's cell phone, not our home phone, my biz phone or my cell phone. the dr did accomodate me ultimately, but it didn't make sense to me that appts would be cancelled without ensuring that the patient got the message. in the future, reconfirming or cancelling appts should be direct to the patient, not to a spouse's cell phone. btw, the office left text messages (2) on my wife's cell phone to confirm the appt, which she did relay to me, sod it's odd t... read more
