We at Hearsay Gastro Lounge are pleased to be in the midst of Houston history in this great building. The W. L. Foley Building, the second building on the block designed by prolific Texas courthouse architect Eugene T. Heiner was buit in 1889. Much of the credit for the current state of the great building goes to former owner Lee Benner.

We made a reservation for 10 o'clock and they called us at 9:40 to tell us they were having a private dinner and pushed our reservation back an hour till 11 and they just kept changing the time. We were very displeased with this. We ended up waiting for the table because my friend swore this place was good, and honestly the food was great but they need to work on their scheduling. I don't know about coming back.
Good food! Sunday brunch-pecan praline French toast, bacon, eggs and bottomless mimosa. Loved my server, Rob at the bar!
I love the place and the food was fantastic. Didn't know we had to call to get a table. Lots of people. Had to eat at the bar.
Food was good! Flaming Leahs great! Restaurant is a bit tiny and limited seating maybe because it was Saturday night! Will be back!
The food, drinks, and service was amazing!! I will definitely be coming here again!!
