I can't say enough about the food & that sweet tea! Our meals arrived piping hot, presentation was appealing & they were seasoned well. Those shrimp & grits....omg, the truth, no kidding! Unlike some restaurants that are more "popular" and/or around the French Quarters, this place is in fact in the "hood" (to keep it real,) so don't come looking for a trendy spot, come here for delicious food, at very affordable price points. We will definitely go back here every time we visit NOLA! Thanks for feeding us well & with that swe... read more
Excellent food and service! Tia was great! I hope to go back again before I leave New Orleans!
First time here and definitely would be returning. Hole in the wall with amazing food and great service. Our server Tia was super sweet. I had the crawfish corn bread, bourbon street chicken with macaroni, and potato salad and finished with bread. The crawfish sauce is really good and the chicken is fried just how it should be! Thank Y’all!!
Food and customer service amazing! I lived here all my life and never knew this place existed. My husband and I purchased the shrimp and grits, The Superdome, The Bourbon Street, and the bread pudding. I cant wait to come back with friends and family.
Food was delicious 😋. I will be going back before I leave town.
We had the pleasure of eating at this small family-owned restaurant today and had a wonderful time. The food was incredible and the server friendly and helpful. I understand the most popular dish is the Superdome, but I very much enjoyed their spicy version of shrimp and grits. My husband had a cornbread and crayfish appitizer which was not yet on the menu. Let’s hope this dish finds its way onto the menu. You must absolutely have the bread pudding.
The best food on this side of Heaven
Omg. The food was on point. The punch was da bomb. It's called Dat Sh#t. Lol
Upscale food with a down home feel! I love everything about Heard Dat from Chef Jeff to his award winning Super Dome!
