I was in New Orleans for Essence Festival and we decided to give Heard Dat a try. We arrived before the opening of the restaurant and it started pouring down raining as we waited in the car. When the restaurant opened and it was still raining, the owner came out with her umbrella to make sure everyone exiting my car didn't get drenched (southern hospitality). Just had the BEST meal ever in New Orleans. I had the Superdome. Very well seasoned, great flavor and absolutely delicious! I met Nice, Tia and Chef Jeff. A wonderful way to end a girls trip and I have some cornbread and banana pudding for the road. Thank you Heard Dat!!! This is a must visit place. They are doing it and doing it in excellence! You will not be disappointed, but you will be blown away!!!

Omg the food was hot and fresh. The food was so tasty, juicy, and flavorful. The family was very polite and humble. You get a full tummy for a great price. Never had crawl fish before so i got the sauce on the side and end up wanting to lick the bowl. The hosting service was excellent. Will be back every time I'm in Nola.
