If I could give this medical group a -20 if I would. If it wasn't for the doctor I would have left a long time ago. The receptionist sits in her seat with a RBF and has condescending remarks about the doctor. It takes 20 minutes to reach a medical staff. Once on the phone they expected me to do their job. After Cano bankruptcy process , and split now this office is under Healthy Partners . The process to referrals changed completely, the “cap contract” with insurance (Humana here) is applied restrictively, in some cases just one provider option. Before Cano processed referrals as they were received, all docs offices set your appointments with plenty time and send their requests, as my case as patient; i call right away to confirm the referral .
