The nurses really try their best. But unfortunately that's where the effort stops. The Dr's. don't care they just need to keep their patient count high. I got bad advice and had a unnecessary surgery that was botched. Didn't even finish the stitches correctly.

This facility is extremely unprofessional. I was yelled at for checking on the well being of my own mother. My mother has been judicial and struggling with bipolar disorder. Her medication is no longer working but this facility doesn’t view her disorder has priority and is releasing her with out proper medication. I was hung up on three times and screamed at before I could get a word out. Kelly Roger was the nurse who repeatedly yelled at me and spoke over me. I recommend for anyone who loves their loved ones to never bring ... read more

My employer called and spoke with my MHealth Dr without my written permission then she cancelled my FMLA after speaking with the employer. First of all, is this even legal? Wouldn't this be a HIPPA violation? Turns out my employer's kid played football on the team that the Dr's husband is the coach for. Wouldn't that be considered a conflict of interest? Has the medical community gone mad too?

The day after Thanksgiving I under went an Below the Knee Amputation. The care I got at the hospital was amazing. The nurses were awesome and caring. My vascular surgeon Dr. Tarbunou was awesome! He was kind, caring and had great words of wisdom for me going forward. I thank you for your hard work getting me back on my feet so to speak!

Business response:

We’re honored by your words, Ryan, and we’re thrilled to hear that you are doing better!

The transition from HealthEast to Fairview has been unwanted and disappointing. Any time I call to make an appointment I sit on hold for at least fifteen minutes and then I am sometimes unable to schedule the care I need at my clinic. It’s also upsetting to see Bethesda Hospital shut down, especially since they were most recently a dedicated COVID hospital and a place where people worked hard to provide excellent care.

Business response:

Thank you for your patience, Anne, as we’ve had to make adjustments at our clinics to keep our patients, providers, and community safe during the pandemic. As for Bethesda, we’re merely moving those beds and that excellent care to St. Joseph’s, where we will keep the specialized COVID-unit open for as long as the community needs it. You can read about Bethesda’s future role in the pandemic here https://www.fairview.org/future/bethesda-hospital and St. Joseph’s here https://www.fairview.org/future/st-josephs-hospital.

I was taken back my wife was allowed to come with and they began asking questions and started fluids. They asked me what medications I told them. My daughter has order for a COVID test and was seen by a physician virtually on Thursday at 10am. He was great and the appointment went very smoothly. I was supposed to wait for a call to get scheduled...no call came. I called this morning (Friday) got passed to several different people, and she is not able to get an appointment until late Sunday morning and then 1-3 days for results. This is ridiculous!!! Every other system has same day appointments in place. We are in the middle of a pandemic, people need to be able to get... read more
