The PA I saw last Sunday was so knowledgeable. He was able to explain in detail why my ears hurt due to upper respiratory infection. He related it to embryologic development which made me even more fascinated with his generous knowledge. I thought about how lucky patients must be to receive knowledge to better understand their disease or illness which could transform into empowerment, thus enabling others to make better decisions regarding oneself or loved one.
