Emerson 4 nurses and NAs = amazing, and the ER nursing staff was amazing. Pre-op/post-op teams, thank you!!! Thank you for going above and beyond even in the time of COVID.

RecommendedI went to the ER last night around 8:30pm after a few hours of nausea, vomiting, chills, sweating and right side abdominal paint. I was in a room pretty quickly. I had a wonderful nurse who is usually an ICU nurse, but who was staffing the ER. She brought me warm blankets and was very kind. I had labs done and a CT scan and was headed to the OR around 2:30am. 2 years ago this hospitals security guards beat me up because I was black. The racist white security guards chocked me on the floor until I couldn't breathe and almost broke my arm. A vicious ugly fat white nurse said I deserved to be beaten up because of my skin color. Shame on this racist hospital and it's love of racism.
