I enjoy going with my Son Dan Carpenter to the family group sessions, it reminds me of the beginner meetings I went to in Florida that helped me stay grounded in my sobriety, reminded me of where I had been, how far I have come, and reminding me how much better my life is now. When it comes to my Son, I will support him every way I can in his sobriety, including the tough love that is hard for a parent, but well worth the effort to help him stay clean.
I love healing hearts. Even though I've had my slip ups they are still willing to work with me. DeWayne is a fun loving caring person and he cares about everyone at the facility. Because I have tried and tried to get myself into there to get myself into treatment since I am hedging problems with other agency. Now they refused to provide an interpreter for me because I'm deaf and now I'm struggling so hard to keep myself clean and ongoing. I just dunno what else to do ugh!!
This place has saved my life! I was lost didn't know where I was going and the counselors really help put my recovery into place. Dewayne and Maja are two of the most caring people I've ever met and I know I didn't make a mistake by making the call!
I can't thank all the staff here enough words don't cover my gratitude for this place thank you all so much for keeping me alive and sober teaching me a new way to live love you guys
Healing Hearts gave me a chance I did not deserve. I love the staff like family, these people are an inspiration. I live a life free of heroin - because these wonderful people had faith in me... I thank God for them daily.
