I had spinal fusion from T10 to L5. In the course of removing a failed fusion of L4-L5 (by another doctor) the year before, he found an infection which had to be treated. In spite of the complications of the infection, the spinal fusion was a huge success. It is now 14 months later and the bones has successfully grown around the fusion and the complicated surgery was a huge success. Dr. Chung is not only an excellent surgeon, he is a pleasure to be around and his staff is excellent!
I was recommended by my PI attorney. I was in a car accident that further damaged my already surgically repaired cervical spine. I also had significant injuries to my shoulder which also needs to be addressed. I went to my appointment and met with his PA, not him. When speaking with the PA I Informed him I already had the shoulder scheduled and proceeded to tell me bad idea, neck needs to be done first. After suffering for 4 months and after seeing 3 other doctors/surgeons who had no idea how to fix a severe sports hernia on my left groin (different from a normal hernia), I stumbled on an article about Dr. MacDonald. He is the only surgeon in the state who has had luck treating this type of injury so I set up an appointment. I made an appointment on-line for August 31 at 1:30. I received a confirmation call. I arrived early for paperwork, but the receptionist said my appointment was cancelled. She state that they called and cancelled and left a voice mail. Neither of those things happened. She said he wasn't taking new patients even though the web site stated that he was. I was angry that I had traveled 20 miles for this appointment and wasted at least half of a day preparing and getting to this appointment. Who treats people like this? I am sur... read more
please be careful. Dr Prusmack had wonderful credentials but in 3 different cases including my 35 year old daughter has made their pain and motion levels worse tban they were going into surgeries
Dr. Li and his office staff are amazing. True to their professions in all aspects - I have nothing but good things to say. Very personal and friendly as well. As a new patient my overall experience was what I would expect a practice to be but now they have raised the bar!

Dr. Li provides a great environment for one-on-one care, listens very well and explains the entire physical examination process in easy laymen's terms.
