I have worked in Palatka since 1973 HCA is the best thimg that happened to our hospital We are moving forward and improving care level each day. I am proud of our community and community hospital.
Last night we took my 6 year old out to the er. He had a nasty bump on his knee( couldn't hardly walk). The dr said it was staff infection but due to him being a kid they basically couldn't so anything!! And said to take him to a children's hospital!! There was other children waiting to be seen besides ours, under the age of 5. Really if you aren't equipped for children why have a birthing center?? Children are born there everyday!!!
, I work with fire and EMS last night I had a friend OD we took him to the ER after we revived him from cardiac arrest the nurse and the doctor there were awesome I can't thank them enough! I can promise you I wouldn't give this review if it weren't true because I have had bad experiences there also
Great care...great people...they treat you like family...love that place!!
This hospital always gets a bad rap, but it has been nothing but wonderful to me and my family!
We arrived in the evening and was surprised at the prompt customer service exhibited to my husband. We were taken back in a very short time and seen immediately by a couple different medical personnel. The facility was clean and the service was on point!

Had OP surgery last week. Everyone, but one male nurse, were professional and caring. Because of his needless sarcasm they fell from 5 to 4 stars. Human Resources, check your staff's attitude.
