I had such a great experience at the HCA Free-Standing ER today! The whole visit was super quick. I was in and out in under an hour with my results. Dr. Andrew Glickman the nurses and front desk staff were awesome: friendly, caring, and explained everything in plain language without all the confusing medical talk. The building is spotless and has brand-new, state-of-the-art equipment, which really put me at ease. New update. I was just treated horribly a second time by a Dr who dangerously left me struggling to breathe. I have MCAS,MCS, and Asthma and he almost killled me. My boyfriend rushed me to a different hospital and they rushed me to Critical Care and that Dr worked 30 minutes himself and with 2 other nurses to stabilize me. I have two very different documents showing both incidences so my attorney will be in touch with him. Now the Second incident he refused to give me IM or IV Benadryl but offered 1 pill. I have been to ER HCA south lakeland facility and the north lakeland ER HCA facility. This time I received hospital aquired COVID. Both times i wasnt given a referral and proper follow up. The first time, i had to contact a hand specialist and the hospital myself in order to have a necessary surgery when I should have been referred to a specialist. To make things worse HCA hospital in Brandon, at first, refused to even give me a necessary surgery. After going back and forth with them they finally did the surgery. The second ... read more

I think this ER is great! The wait is never long. The security guards are so down to earth, the nurses are so sweet and very quick. Amy and Nicole are my favorite. They are great at getting IVs in fast. MD Battistini-Christian Jose is a very knowledgeable Dr and he puts you at ease. He actually talks and listens to his patient’s needs. First time I met him he saved my life as I was having a severe anaphylactic attack. He knows how to treat my MCAS and calm my mast cells.
