Hi I went to this facility on Friday 2/20 @ 2:00 pm with my son they did all the test to find out why he was sick .. he came out with influenza a and strep throat the doctor on duty didn’t send me with any medication just to continue with Tylenol and ibuprofen for the fever. 5 days later he’s still with fever. I went to Lakeland region medical and they found it odd that the doctor didn’t give any antibiotics if test positive for flu and strep .. and especially for a child of the age of 7.. The facility is modern and clean. The staff is quite friendly and helpful. My primary suggestion for improvement would be to have the staff clearly communicate the time frame involved for procedures like X-rays and ultrasounds. It was only after a couple of hours of waiting, post procedure, that we were informed about the actual process for reading and interpreting the scans, and getting the results back to the attending physician.
