HORRIBLE experience at Brandon Regional hospital. My husband and I had the same experience April 2016. After 8 hours with no service and an IV hanging out of my husband arm we left. Never saw a doctor, but they managed to take my co pay and stick a IV in my husbands arm. People literally sitting in the ER with needles hanging out of their arm. I will NEVER EVER go to Brandon Regional hospital again. The WORST EMERGENCY ROOM IN THE STATE OF FLORIDA.
Came in to have a procedure done (tubal ligation). I was checked in quickly and easily and seen on time. The nurses were very nice and considerate. I met with the doctor, anesthesiologist, and nurses for the procedure very quickly and was given the chance to ask any questions I might have. They answered my questions fully and to my satisfaction. I was taken back to the operating room and then it was lights out. I came to in recovery and the nurses were very attentive to my pain and made sure I was feeling okay. Overall the e... read more
The staff is rude, not professional and have horrible bed side manners.
Had the best care and staff someone could ask for the team on the 5th floor took such great care of me going above and beyond for me even let me pick my nurses and Dave the manager ran all over the hospital to find me apply juice and I didn't ask he just knew I loved drinking my apply juice and they had ran out on my floor and when my girls came to visit they treated them as they was their own kids and got them snacks and made them feel comfortable big Ty to the whole 5th floor staff
Me and my wife recently had our first child here and i have to say that even though we have both had bad experiences that this was quite a good one. Agreed some nurses were not as friendly as others but for the most part they were all sweet and kind! Especially our nurse in the mommy and baby suites Gail H and Mayette. They were both a dream come true when it came to nurses! Gail was such an amazing help with everything from helping us feed baby to watching her in the nursery while we slept.
