I came in yesterday morning for surgery and admission. So far my experience has been, as someone else posted, a five-star hotel experience. The people here cannot do enough to make me comfortable. My Dr. Is awesome and everyone else has gone above the br or excellence.

It's so easy for business to not accept responsibility and blame third party service. Maybe the reason so much service is outsourced. Would you believe when your in a hospital and order your food, your call does not go to the hospital where the food service is? Here at Brandon Regional Hospital in Brandon, FL the person that enters the order is in Largo, FL. This hospital is a joke. They truly need to shut it's doors. My first really bad experience was 2006 when I went in having breathing issues. The Er doctor told me I had lung cancer and when I went to the lung doctor he couldn't say if I did or didn't so I had the surgery which was very painful having my upper right lobe removed. I was lucky it was not cancer. Then last night went in because I have really bad psoriasis and can not walk or really use my hands. I was treated well by all the staff - from the doctors/surgeons all the way to the Housekeeping staff. Everyone was kind and did their best to answer any request and see that I was comfortable.

They ruined my family's life. My Dad(56yrs) went in for over 6 months.He had beyond severe abdominal pain.He was sent home a few times with gastritis as the diagnosis before we refused to leave then was put in ICU... 7 surgeries, week in Coma, cdif, merca, excemia (losing most of colon due to mistake during one surgery) compartment syndrome in one leg bc/ the ignored fluid after I told them over and over. Left catheter in a month longer than needed causing infections.They said it's just easier in ICU. Still no real diagnosis... read more

I have an awesome experience with BRH! I was checked in fast and easy. Staff was very professional. I was in and out in 2-3 hours. I am scary and the staff made me feel much better about things! Thanks for everything !!!!😍
