Thank you to Haywood Smokehouse for preparing a special dinner for the Northern Cyprus Folk Dance Group that visited Haywood County last week via FOLKMOOT USA. Our international guests loved the food and it was a special treat to share with them a taste of the mountains.
We love the Haywood Smokehouse. We eat here every time we are in the area. The beef brisket is the best! The Brunswick stew is wonderful. And their fruit cobblers are excellent!
Great melt in your mouth BBQ and variety of sauces to choose from. Great little restaurant for something different.
Food and service was really good. We had pulled pork and brisket. Max & cheese was the real deal! Peach cobbler was the best part. Full of cinnamon and peaches. Mmmm! This is a small place and very casual. It is off the main drag but check it out! You will be treated to a great meal.
The best BBQ ever!!!! Our waitress was wonderful! We are from Louisiana and would love to come back just to eat here again!

Casual atmosphere with some of the best ribs ever! The bark on the ribs and brisket was perfection!
Literally some of the best of the bbq we have ever had....perhaps the absolute best! Our party of four had brisket, rib tips, chopped pork, andouille sausage, mac and cheese, green beans, baked beans, cole slaw, fries, and Texas toast. There was absolutely nothing on the table that wasn't fantastic. I'm not a big sauce person, so I didn't have any of the sauces, but my husband and soon tried all of them and loved them all! This place is the real deal. Brisket is on par with anything in Texas. Last meal I had the waitress suggested the smoked turkey...it was absolutely perfect. Always a must when we visit from Florida!!!
