RecommendedI knew it would be good when I showed up for lunch after 1:00 and the parking lot was full. No problem seating, though. Had the “sloppy dressed” sandwich lunch special... imagine a sloppy joe made with smoked beef and cole slaw on a bun. Came with a big honk in’ knife cut into it, which was needed. It was awesome! Side of fries and a cup of delicious Brunswick stew. The staff was friendly, courteous and prompt.
Came here to avoid Hurricane Florence from Oak Island NC The food was 5 star and Maria our waitress was so helpful. Took some Georgia Fire sauce home with us !!! We LOVE your place and will be back ♥️♥️

great food, authentic atmosphere
My family and I ate here back in October. This year my boyfriend and I are returning to North Carolina for a vacation and the main reason is to eat here again. An 8 hour drive for bbq, worth it.

Tasty brisket... smoked and with a slow cooked crust. Sides were good and many sauces to choose from.
Outstanding! I am a competitive BBQ cook 30 weekends a year. I normally do not eat other people's BBQ because I am snobby about Q. It was great! No sauce needed. Sides were excellent as well. Met the owner's son and he was extremely enthusiastic about what he does. And it shows!!! Keep up the great product! I will be back.
