I honestly don't think I would be alive if not for Dr Hays and his staff! I am 73 and have been a patient for at least 30 years! I've survived Stage 4 Metastatic Malignant Melanoma, Shingles, a hip replacement, MRSA, Sarcoidosis, SEPSIS and several cases of Flu! His staff is Fantastic from the front desk to check out. Have been seen in this office for many years. They are very thorough and competent. Most of the time I see Shana Flleming, NP-C. They keep me in optimal health. Referrals, prescriptions, and reports done quickly. It is always a pleasure to visit.

Dr. Lakin is very good as a primary physician. Knows more than most PCP's I been to and cares about you and his job. Problem: Most of the staff is either overworked or incompetent. Exceptions: Michelle, Toccara and Lorraine. Since Conviva attempting to get to a person is all but impossible. Hope you like voice mail; and I have never been able to talk to the doctor with one phone call. No tele-medicine that I'm aware of. No email either.

I had a 12:30 appt scheduled for today. It took me a week and a half to get this appt. Simple, easy, straight forward visit for medication refills. I was sitting in the waiting room for 45 min and still not on anybody’s radar. I had to leave to pick up my kids (why should I have to pay for emergency after care at $60 a pop?). I already paid for my visit and received nothing but grief and aggravation. The person at the check out desk is so bloody awful! She said I had to come back! WTH?!?!?!?!? I hate going there. I have been a patient w/ Dr. Hays for about seven years. Yesterday, I called for an appointment because I am experiencing extreme pain in my right breast. I have been trying to call my obgyn for three days (after going to a clinic to see if something else was wrong). For whatever reason, the front office never answered the phone and for three bloody long days, no one called me back. The office staff is pathetic. Constant problems with billing, insurance AND apparently they lost my blood somewhere between the office and the lab! HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE?!?!? I've been waiting 3 weeks for results and have gotten nothing but a run around and empty promises about "we'll call you tomorrow"......only to never receive a call! I've been a patient at that office for almost 6 years and have wanted to see Dr Hayes numerous times, only to be shuffled off to assistants. the worse office personal. they take forever to answer the phone then they take 5 mins telling you how busy they are. dr is out of town with only a nurse as back up wish i had a dollar for every time they are suppose to call back and dont. father is 93 and blood pressure is going crazy up over 202 then slowly drops then back up again went to emergency at holy cross and they advised to see his dr that they cannot give him a new persecution he is very afraid of a stroke and they way he was treated on phone only made it worse w... read more
