Dr Hays is very compassionate and knowledgeable. Takes his time to listen and answer all questions as needed including, talking to the attending doctor when I visited the ER. He goes above and beyond to know the overall well being of his patient besides illness.
Not a good doctor or staff. I had been going there for years. I was hanging major pain in my lower back and they would not help me. Told me to go to the hospital. I ended up having emergency back surgery.
Awful office! Staff do not answer the phone. Anything faxed or mailed is mysteriously never received. It takes months to get an appointment to see the doctor, and when the appointment does roll around, doctor wouldn't see me and hands me off to his PA. Incompetent office all around!!!
After some office changes, staff expansion and addition of a portal, things are flowing well and access is markedly improved. We still get the same personal treatment . Happy we are coming here for our whole family.
Called Dr. Hayes' office several times trying to schedule an appointment, was able to finally reached someone (Cindy) to schedule an appointment to see a doctor in two months.However, last week, I developed a condition, and needed immediate medical attention, and a referral.Regardless of my medical needs, was told by Kathie to go to the emergency room, or find another doctor.I did find another doctor!!!!!!!
Avoid this doctor and his factory. Took almost two months to get an appointment. On day of appointment doctor was about one hour late in seeing me. Moreover he didn't apologize and was surly! Arrived early to fill out forms. Was processed by nurse technician who didn't even tell me BP results. Seemingly competent Physicians Assistant was late and hadn't read nor received my forms. Doctor had a bad attitude and apparently showed up only so as to justify getting his reimbursement.
Have been a patient of dr hays for 4 years have been hospitized twist with a staff infection thanks to the people dr Hays recommend the problem haste been corrected. The PA's , nurses and staff are always very attentive an professional
