Billing department is a joke! I called to pay my $1100 dollar bill in full with the discount the used to offer... was told no more discount... forget it I will keep my cash and pay you the minimum!
My wife went for a procedure, but the staff found very quickly the procedure was not necessary. A staff member told my wife to be sure they didn't bill us for the whole procedure (because she obviously knew) which they did. Through multiple phone calls they have refused to change the billing, insisting they are correct. Now they refuse to return any of my wife's calls and today we have found out they referred us to collections. I would never again willingly use Hays Medical Center.
I went for a mammogram as I had heard it was one of the best. They didn’t have me scheduled but said I no showed a month before on same date. I never got a reminder call for that day, nor did my friend who went the same day I did, she was in the schedule. They did work me in which I appreciated since I drove two hours. I was told I would get a letter with results in 3-5 days. I didn’t, my friend did. Stop sending customers who are current on payments to collections.
They are just money hungry! I have been paying $150 every month on a bill because they don't accept our insurance & have never been late & they turned us over to collections. They suck, you can't talk to anyone there, the lady told me you are better off not having insurance.
I like the staff and if it hadn't been for the medical staff at HaysMed my health in general wouldn't be good as it is now and I thank you.
Great facility with wonderful and caring professional staff who always have your best interest at heart!
