My daughter got the baby in class so we walked over for her king cake to bring to school tomorrow. The king cakes are great, but the staff are even better!
We ordered a king cake for my birthday and they had no issue charging my card. What they did have an issue with was their follow thorough in providing the product. The cake did not arrive as scheduled and when I called the bakery they were not apologetic at all. They said I could wait a week to have another one shipped or get a refund. They acknowledged there was a glitch in their shipping system but made no effort to contact those effected and were just waiting for people to call in and complain. Do not order from this place. They take your money but sit on your order and ship it when they feel like shipping it. I spent a lot of money on King Cakes ordered them early (before they opened on Tuesday). They sat on the order all day Tuesday and did not ship it till Wednesday evening. But they had no problem taking my money Tuesday. I complained and got nothing from them. STAY AWAY UNLESS YOU WANT VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Never had a King Cake before but always wanted to try it. Had it overnighted to us in Missouri and was not disappointed. We will definitely be ordering King Cakes from Haydel’s in the future! Thank you!
