Terribly disappointed in their made to order birthday cakes. So very dry and lacking flavor! This is not the first disappointing cake from them! I won’t be ordering again!
I went out for dinner and wanted a pie. I loved Haydels when I was living in N.O. so I went out on a limb and I bought a store packaged apple pie and was VERY disappointed it is so dry, there is not enough filling whatsoever. I feel robbed for the price I paid to not have enough filling to even out the crust, that is all you taste.. If I pay for apple then I want apple not pie dough. I won't be buying or recommending them any time soon.. BRING BACK HUBIGS! They knew how to make pies 😒.. now how do I get my money back??.... ... read more
I ordered a birthday cake and asked for lemon filling. I cut the cake and had buttercream filling flavored with lemon extract. never have I ever had to specify whether I wanted lemon curd or buttercream. I suggested to the manager that when they take orders, they should give people the option. instead I was told by the manager that I should have specified what I wanted. if i don't know what you offer how can i specify what I want. customer service sucked.

You can not go wrong with anything you purchase from this bakery. Hats off to the amazing pastry chefs. Also, The staff are friendly and helpful throughout your entire experience from stepping one foot in the door to one foot out the door. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ on whichever item you chose crosses your lips. 💋❤️
