Hand pies are terrible.... Overpriced and almost no filling..... Booooo

My first visit was last Saturday and I've been there 3 times since and I live an hour away but Lisa she's so sweet and she has awesome CUSTOMER SERVICE!! She assure me that I was going to come and I did. Every time I walks in Lisa remember my face and always greets me with a smile. The cakes are DELICIOUS!!
Everything I've always purchased as been awesome!!!! I'm from out of town and always try to swing by when I'm passing....
Ordered birthday cake with pineapple in the middle had a very very little pineapple not certified with the pineapple cake was very fresh and good just didn't have enough pineapple in the middle

My husband and I got married in May, and Haydel's made our wedding cake and grooms cake. I heard about Haydel's at a bridal expo. They had several other bakery's there but Haydel's cake was by far the best ! They were always so professional, and were easy to work with. To be honest this review is to address the New Orleans Hand Pie. These are the worst pies I have ever eaten. Given they bear the Haydel Bakery name I expected them to be as good as if not better than the Hubig Pies. I was gravely disappointed. They are nothing but a thick hard dough shell with an extremely thin layer of which ever pie filling coating the inside. No fresh fruit was detected. Went to order or wedding cake yesterday and worked with Norma Jean...she was super sweet and worked with us down to every detail. She even gave us a suggestion that we LOVED, and I cannot wait to see how it turns out! ❤️❤️
