Obviously the town of Weaverville has had some difficulty with hurricane Helene affecting so many lives. One would hope that the community would support its residents and help in times of disaster. Not Hawthorne. We were without power or water for 18 days total, with 2 little kids and myself being 7 months pregnant. You could say this was out of the property's control, except every building was restored much earlier with the exception of half of our particular building. We visited Hawthorne Weaverville because we are looking to move there, as we have family in the area. The location is great, it takes about 20-25 minutes to get to downtown Asheville and there is dining and shopping nearby. Bethany was very nice and gave us a tour of the apartments. Still unsure if we will be relocating but if we do we will be calling Bethany!
