Hawg Wild offers a smoked boston butt (vinegar and sweet sauce) and beef brisket that are chopped along with smoked chicken and Saint Louis Ribs. The standards of slaw, fries, baked beans and hushpuppies come along on the side. We also offer burgers, hot dogs, salads, trout, grilled chicken and many other sides to appeal to all tastes in a comfortable down home environment. Great food and atmosphere! I would go back anytime I'm in Brevard area
Hubby got chicken sandwhich, buffalo style, I got their sandwhich. Both were great and so filling we could not finish our delicious fries. Our 2nd trip, we live in SC but plan to make this a regular stop when we are up this way.
We were visiting from Florida and stopped for lunch before heading to sliding rock. Food was delicious 😋

We heard from the people at Sliding Rock that there's a good bar-b-que place up the road. We decided to try it. Was it ever good. I had the hamburger all the way with cheese and was it great! The other plates were equally great. Good clean restaurant with great food. So glad we stopped.
