This dreamy, historic home in midtown Tulsa was a beautiful location for my small wedding in October 2015. Our photos on the grounds were beautiful even on a cloudy day. Rentals of the mansion also support a local nonprofit, the Arts & Humanities Council of Tulsa.
From the beginning our experience was disappointing. We were given incorrect rates, our contract was lost, our representative changed 3 times and each time there was NO record as to what we had been told from the previous representative. The facility is very dirty, dust everywhere. We were told the outside would have beautiful blooming plants...more like dying plants. Our contract stated that we had the building beginning at 1 pm. I had the pleasure of working in the offices at Harwelden for several years. It is a special place in my heart. A wonderful place to hold a special event - a one of a kind!
A most elegant place,really depending on your venue you could have any wedding here. I was totally impressed with everything.the outside was beautiful for photo taking and my g-daughters wedding was in Dec,so I can imagine in the summer it would be even prettier,but no complaints at all.
