It was a perfect venue for my daughter's Beauty & the Beast themed wedding. Ricky was helpful in answering all our questions as needed and he made sure we had things done at our request. Although the mansion will be sold soon and this review may not be helpful to anyone, I still wanted to say what a wonderful wedding we had. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding day for Kayla and Owen!
My hubby worked there in the early seventies. I helped when I could. I've just learned the mansion is to be sold, heartbreaking! Such a wonderful place! I fervently hope it isn't torn down.

Back in my sr. high school year I had no idea what Harwelden was but was guided to it by someone at Philbrook I think as a better prime location for Hale H.S.'s Thespian high school movie. Somehow permission was granted and there followed several frantic days of my friends and I racing west up 21 St. to film a film that was sadly never finished or released, but we all learned a lot from the experiences and had great times, and I used my memories of the scenes done there to flesh out my first novel.
