No where to park
When I was in college, I lifeguarded at the Harvard Hall pool--yes, there was a dinky little pool in the basement. It was about 40 feet long, and cockroaches would scamper across the water pipes in the ceiling. I did a geat job, but got fired by Mr. Tinley for missing work one day. This was in about 1961-62. There--a bit of history!
This is a grand old building with beautiful well-designed apartments. Why are you tearing down walls in them? I can understand upgrades, like new appliances and the air conditioning being installed, and the floors being repaired but please, please don't tear down walls. Kitchens and dining rooms and living rooms were meant to be separate spaces for a reason.
