Hartnell College is one of the oldest educational institutions in California. Founded in 1920 as Salinas Junior College, the school was renamed Hartnell College in 1948. The Hartnell Community College District was formed the following year. The college moved to its present location at 411 Central Avenue in Salinas in 1936. (The location was first identified as being at 156 Homestead Avenue, but renovations and additions eliminated the entranceway on that street, so the address was officially changed in 2008.) Hartnell Track is very nice venue for morning workout! Sincere thanks to Hartnell College for allowing the public to use this facility! Very convenient for us although we have to drive about 10 mins to get there! That’s okay!
I went here a LONG time ago and enjoyed the staff and my classes. What we love is is the pre school. The teachers are great we love love love them. This is such a magical program! There is a LOT of kids but they are in small communities with a lot of supervision. Kids are allowed to do what they choose. They are very independent. So if you are looking for a school which offers you child homework (some preschools give homework if you can believe it) this school may not be for you. Kids can be kids here and it is great !!
my son is student at Hartnell and today he is graduate. Every days he has passed here was so good. I don't have a very good english but I'm really grateful of this establishment . L.OREFICE
