I am very sorry there were misunderstanding of prices It was called white pea gravel but it was White Quartz yes definitely not for someone on a very low budget. One scoop is .5 ton 1/2 ton 1000 lbs $ 80.00 (2) scoops from the skid steer would equal 1 Ton = 2000 lbs.. I remember you and your grandfather with a very small trailer so you came several times to buy another load..I Can promise you this you paid 80.00 for one half a ton X2 would be $ 160.00 per ton perhaps you purchased 1. 5 tons i'm very sorry you were confused a... read more

We have always bought our decorative rock here. Not any more! We have paid $80 per ton. But today we were charged $160 ton. Double!!! We paid cash for the first scoop (1/2 ton) and went back for our second scoop and was charged again and was told it had always been $160 ton even though we have receipts where we paid $80/ton. If I could give a negative star I would. His comment to us was that he was the only place that sold white pea rock, so I guess we will be going out of Knoxville to find an honest company to our purchase ... read more
