Dr. Hodges and her husband are very caring professionals and it shows in everything they do. My experience has been through a peke rescue that I sometimes foster for and 2 of my foster failures were at Harris Animal Hospital prior to coming to me to foster. Both furbabies had everything they could possibly need done for them prior to coming to me. They do a lot to assist rescues and quite frankly could qualify as a rescue themselves. It is difficult to find the words to fully describe how incredibly thankful I am to Harris Animal Hospital and Dr. Lucinda Hodges for saving the life of my dear Peke Stella. Stella was rescued from a deplorable puppy mill in N.C., where she and about 50 other dogs had spent their entire lives in tiny crates stacked upon each other. They sat in their own urine, feces, rotting food and dirty water. Stella and her puppy were taken to a shelter, where the puppy was adopted but Stella stood to be gassed. I am so thankful for the doctors and staff at Harris Animal Hospital. Everyone is always so helpful and competent with whatever needs Sugar has. I appreciate that they "know" us and always go the extra mile to make sure we have been provided the best care possible. I wouldn't take her anywhere else!

This place is awesome! Dr. Hodges's patiently answers all your questions and cares for your pet as her own. She's the best. Glad we found her!! The techs and receptionists are just as great also.
I needed a new Vet to take care of my three year old kitty, Snow. I researched several local vets and decided to choose Harris. I was a little apprehensive about going somewhere new, but as soon as we walked in, we felt like part of the family. I love Harris Animal Hospital! They have taken such wonderful care of all my fosters and my own personal dogs and cats.
