Horrible Service – I don't care how many kinds of beer they serve, or that they're an "authentic" Irish pub (my Irish ancestors would shudder) this place has the worst attitude towards service I have seen. I went there for the first time last night, and the bartender was so rude to me that he ruined my evening. I complained to the manager, who merely shrugged. great live band place – great bar to meet guys. LOTS of guys here. Everyone is havng fun. The bar is EXTREMELY SMALL, so if you dont like being pushed, shoved, and having drinks poured on you, you might not like it. I liked it though, I thought it was a very fun bar. My favorite thing is their live bands- you MUST go when "tijuana dogs" are playing.
Home from home – I love the Harp. As an ex patriot from England I know the owner, barstaff and a lot of the regualrs there are from either the U.K. or down under. The atmosphere and ambience in the Harp is alive with good conversation and story telling. The basic pub food menu is above average with the bangers and mash being my favorite. There is live music on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights which always draw a good crowd.
