The Harp This little dive has been around forever. It has a great atmosphere and crazy crowd. No matter what night, it seems like there is cause to celebrate. Beware of police that seem to always be around when you leave.
good place to go for live music Unassuming "Irish" bar. Nothing particularly special about this place. The food is ok, and the place tends to get very crowded on the weekends, but it is a good place to listen to bands.(keeping in mind you will be packed-in there. It does have a descent patio when it gets too stuffy inside.
Get yer Irish up The Harp has been one of my favorite spots for some four years. I plan on being there this St. Patrick's Day as I usually am for the fun and laughs. I always have a good night dancing with the girls and going around. The bartenders can dish out the drinks and the insults. I love it. This is a true Irish Pub. There is no other Bar in town with an owner from Ireland. John is always there and you can usually spot him walking through the crowd or behind the bar. The girls are hot. You can't go wrong at The Harp.... read more
Best Irish pub in Orange County – You don't find many Irish pubs in this area with a real Irish owner. There the fish and chips are light and crispy. A fun place whether you drink or not, plus good food. The fact that the place is crowded proves that it's just awesome. A very cool atmosphere inside. I will definitely be there for St. Patrick's Day!
Authentic Irish Pub in Costa Mesa -OC -So. Cal! – Not all Irish Pubs outside of Ireland are created equal. Some have Irish pub names yet no real Irish staff. The Harp Inn is the real deal! Great Irish staff - so be on your best guard because if you step out of line - you are barred! Fun weekend bands like Neon Nation, Tijuana Dogs and The Project plus Sunday afternoon for blues or traditional music with Gypsy Kiss, SOB or Trooper Thorn. A fun place whether you drink or not, plus good food. I think the Harp Inn has increased ... read more

beer tastes better when served with an irish accent – bad service? huh? what bar were you at lady? these guys are awesome, not only do they treat me like a princess, they actually CALL me princess. admittedly, an irish princess gets treated differently than an OC princess, but I'd rather be an irish princess anyday. the bands are usually awesome. although, of the 3 bands I've seen, I can't really say the playlists are that different. tj dogs are not my favorite, but they get the job done. the creepers play the most and best ... read more
