Y'all come back now!!! – There is no better Cajan food outside of Lafeyette, LA, I insist. However, this place is the real deal. The gumbo was loaded with Cajun sausages and seafood, but most importantly, it tasted like gumbo. They don't skim on anything. Markedly authentic – I grew up eating cajun food, and have been searching for an excellent restaurant to enjoy my perrenial favorites at, and I recently gave Harold and Belle's a try. While it may not seem to be fair to judge an entire menu off of one item, I'm a firm believer that any Cajun restaurant's food can be based on the quality of the Gumbo. And I have to say, it was amazing! The portions were so big, we weren't able to eat much of our entrees. Leftovers are always good though!
Harold & Belle's is the bomb – I love the food at Harold & Belle's, it's the best cajun food in Los Angeles.
Best restaurant I've been to in a long time. – The food was delicious and in large portions. Although we got there pretty late on a busy Saturday night without a reservation but we were surprised that we were sitted very quickly. The service was great and we had a wonderful time. I was so happy with the service that I am considering having Harold & Belle's cater my wedding.

Ms. Steterrell – I frequent three(3) restaurants in the Los Angeles area, and Harold & Belle's is one of the three. We love going there! The food is delicious, served hot, and there's always plenty of it. The complete dining experience is memorable and wonderful.
great food, poor service – I've heard alot about this place and after going a couple times I wouldn't say I recommend it. The food is great. No question about that, but the service always overshadowed the experience both times for me. Bad service once is somewhat understandable, but the two times I went the staff was unfriendly, apathetic even, and the food took forever. If you can look past that, the food is wonderful.
best oyster poboy outside of new orleans – I had the oyster po'boy and red beans and rice - bit pricy, but very good food.
