Kevin is outstanding. He's very punctual, responsive, works weekends if you need him, and thorough. He's also clearly a deep domain expert on all things hardwood flooring. He was very conservative, making sure to warn us about potential issues we could discover once we ripped our old floor out (we had water damage whose source was unknown), and his quote was clear and fair. I called this guy to get a quote to refinish a floor of a house I owned and was putting on the market. He went to the house to get measurements after I texted him the address during the move of the previous tenants. After two days of not hearing anything I texted if he got a chance to get the measurement for a quote. He ignored that text. After the third day of no response I called him to see if he had a chance to stop by and he simply said "floor needs buffing, no thank you" and hung up. The men that did the actual work were good honest men. They made sure I loved my floors and had great customer service. However, I don’t believe the owner of the business ever even came back to my home to inspect the job. He just hired subcontractors to do the work and collected a check. Then tried to hit me with surprise costs after the job was done instead of communicating throughout the project and telling me upfront. We just moved into a older home that was built in the 60s. We did not want to get rid of the original hardwood flooring so we contacted Hardwood Floors Specialist. The owner was prompt and detailed thus we hired them for our project. The job was better than I expected looks like new flooring.
