We are visiting Dallas for work and were told by a “Good Ole Boy” at Kroger that Hard 8 was more than a restaurant, it was a “Texas BBQ Experience”. We couldn’t agree more. As BBQ enthusiasts we are quite critical, but this place was simply amazing. Pit Master Big John gave us a personal tour and we were amazed at how much they pay attention to detail. As a business owner I’m hyper aware of good and bad customer service. Recently in Dallas Texas, we had an awesome meal before flying back to Boston I bought a gift pack of BBQ sauce and rub at Hard Eight Pit BBQ, they assured me I could get it on the plane, so didn’t the ticket agent. Of course TSA wouldn’t let it on & my bag was already on the way to the plane. So the TSA went home with primo BBQ sauce. I was with the band with Allen Hurt I was very pleased with the service and the way the stage was set up for the band, and especially for the bands entrance. The food we got was excellent. That was my first time to a Hard Eight BBQ, I was so surprised how big it was , and the crowd of patrons you had. We hope to come back again. It was awesome. Thank y’all for having Allen Hurt as your entertainment .
True Texas BBQ- service was fantastic and honestly the best BBQ, fried okra I’ve ever had. If ever in Texas you should make this a stop!!!

Food was really good. They had a one man band that was playing country.
I don’t give 5 Star ratings. But the Hard Eight gets it every time. Great Food!!
