Get directionsIn November of 2019 a male nurse, I won't name names, let my dad, who had just had BRAIN SURGERY, fall ON HIS HEAD. He was rated high fall risk, he hadn't been given any nutrition in 4+days, and it was the first time he got out of bed in weeks. He developed a hematoma and so they couldn't give him blood thinners to help with clots, he was in limbo. If he hadn't fallen we all feel he would be alive. Bedside manner of the social worker sucked. As we were making the decision to take him off life support at his request, she came... read more
I give harborview 3 stars. The drs and nurses are the best around. In a trauma situation this is where you need to be. Their knowledge saved my moms life. ICU 2 west had the best, most attentive nurses!! Due to covid we were locked out. The nurses took great care of my mom snd kept us updated. Once she was moved to the acute floor 3 west that changed. I can assume that she was treated well but They didn’t return calls and updates were very hit or miss. I complained and things changed. We started getting updates snd the nurse... read more
About a year ago I got flown in from montana to Harborview because I had a random mass form in my brain and my little podunk hospital had no idea how to treat it so I got flown over. When I first arrived I was in a haze cause of the mass but I did remember how nice they were to someone that was far from home and scared as hell not knowing whether it was going to be fatal or not. I had a couple good nurses but one really stuck out for me and made sure I got the proper care and that before they sent me home I got all of my doc... read more
Worst hospital ever!! Please take your loved ones where they will be treated like human beings. I have been hung up on by security and sat on a ringing line for over 10 minutes while trying to get information about my son whom I’m not allowed to visit because of COVID, but can’t seem to successfully deliver a care package to an inpatient.
My theory is that Harborview must have an awesome and supportive staff environment because everyone I’ve met who works there is professional, friendly, and seems to genuinely enjoy their jobs. That attitude is reflected in the way they treat their patients. I’ve had amazing care from the ortho team after what felt like a miracle surgery from the pelvic trauma team in May after a horseback riding accident. Thank you to all the doctors, nurses, X-ray techs, and staff who have gone out of their way to help me heal. It’s amazing... read more
I’ve been here 5 hours and was told my stomach issues weren’t enough to get me seen soon enough but the hoe with anxiety gets to go before me?
By not making up symptoms that I don't have so I can get treated for the symptoms that I do have.
Best doctors ever, they save my life
