My wife took me after raving about how amazing it used to be before the reopen. Sad to say it was terrible. Tried the bang bang shrimp.. supposed to be spicy, not even close. My wife finished her sweet tea and the waitress said she would be right back with a new one. She never came back with one. Save yourself the time and money After first having our waitress come to the table whem we first sat down, multiple times after we asked for some time to look at the menu.. we rarely saw her again. She forgot to bring my refill of a sweet tea, we recieved bread with no butter.. and i didnt get my oysters until jesus finished his salad. So i got to watch him eat. Then visa versa. Who knew that there was such a fabulous seafood restaurant on a lake in Winter Haven? Not only is the view nice, the food was way beyond our expectations! Debra was our server and she was well informed about the menu and answered all of our questions without having to 'go check'. We started with generous call brand cocktails and an order of Boom Boom Shrimp. Crunchy outside and tender inside with just the right amount of sauce. Nothing special on the menu, typical steak and seafood. Awful service from both the bar and server. I'll never be back. You get better service from a chain seafood joint. Good view though. Very beautiful inside.
Had dinner there 2 weeks ago, while visiting family in the area. The service was excellent, the lady I assumed was the manager went out of the way to make us feel welcome, the food was very good, and the view was awesome. This is not a gourmet restaurant, and doesn't pretend to be. The only negative would be the noise level in the main dining area, which was detectable in the side room we dined in. I will definitely return when in the area, and recommend to friends.
Excellent food and great customer service a place to go if in the area worth the drive. The prices are even good.
