I went into Harbor Cove Dental on the recommendation of two good friends! I was intending to call to schedule a cleaning and exam, but had not gotten around to it. All of a sudden, I had an emergency. I had chipped a large piece of my front tooth!! I called and they told me enthusiastically they had an opening @ 2:00 if I would like to come in. Although many people dread a visit to the dentist, I never do. Dr. Bakland has provided top notch care to me for many years in a friendly, caring office of people. It's worth the drive from Newburyport. I give Harbor Cove Dental 5 stars and the highest recommendation. If you are looking for a dentist, he's your guy.
I was referred to Dr. Backland many years ago from my neighbor because they were so pleased with his work. I took their advice and I could not be happier. He is very friendly and such a perfectionist. I live only five minutes from where he previously practiced. When he relocated to Gloucester I didn't think twice about making a 45 minute ride because I'm so pleased with him and his work. Rob Hager

Very light touch on the cleaning, thank you! (Though I have been brushing with Sensodine ever since my last cleaning, which may help.) First dentist in years who hasn't tried to sell me a big appliance of some sort or another, which I appreciate more than I can say.

I have been going to see Dr.B for years. When I first came across his dental office in Newburyport Ma, I knew I would never go to anyone but him and his amazing team of staff. I have no idea how they can be more gentle than any other dentist I've used and yet still get my teeth cleaner than any other dentist I've used. But they are and they do. Every time.
