My appointment at Harbor Cove was excellent. Dr Bakland was our family dentist for many years in Newburyport. It is worth the drive from New Hampshire to Gloucester for the Dental care received at Harbor Cove Dental. The staff are all very friendly and make you feel very comfortable.
This was my first emergency visit to Dr. Leif. Not only was I seen 20 minutes ahead of time, but I was able to promptly schedule my next appointment, as well as told what my financial responsibilities would be after insurance coverage.

I had my biannual theeth cleaning last week and I must say I have never had a more thorough cleaning in my many years of having regular cleanings. Harbor Cove Dental is second to none when it comes to taking great care of my dental needs. The team gets an A++ score from this happy customer.
Broke a tooth on a Monday and called HCD. They fit me in the next day and fixed the tooth. Friendly, courteous and professional. They're the best.
I've been a patient of Dr. Bakland's for almost 40 years now. I followed him from Newburyport to Gloucester because he is that good and worth the 45 min drive. He's skillful and quite honest about what can & needs top be done. His staff is very friendly. The practice comes highly recommended. Our entire family goes there.
My old silver fillings have been getting cavities underneath them beginning about ten years ago. I am nearly silver free now and have awesome composite fillings as replacements done by Dr. Bakland and Stephanie. They make it pain free and have been able to replace those old fillings where I thought I would have to have a bunch of crowns. What a great job.
