Fixing a broken tooth I had a filling that needed to be fixed because I was finding that I was trapping food around the tooth and it had become a nuisance. The treatment was as always -- very professional, effective and friendly. In addition, I recently had hip replacement surgery and I was told I needed to take anti-biotics before any dental work. It was never clear to me exactly why, but Dr. Bakland gave me a very sensible, plain English explanation which helped me understand the need to do so.
