Patsy Gallagher goes to the dentist... Although many people dread a visit to the dentist, I never do. Dr. Bakland has provided top notch care to me for many years in a friendly, caring office of people. It's worth the drive from Newburyport. I give Harbor Cove Dental 5 stars and the highest recommendation. If you are looking for a dentist, he's your guy.

I went into Harbor Cove Dental on the recommendation of two good friends! I was intending to call to schedule a cleaning and exam, but had not gotten around to it. All of a sudden, I had an emergency. I had chipped a large piece of my front tooth!! I called and they told me enthusiastically they had an opening @ 2:00 if I would like to come in. I went and immediately was struck by how wonderful the office was with such great light and beautiful furniture and colors on the walls etc! I was met by the office admin/receptionist... read more

I was referred to Dr. Backland many years ago from my neighbor because they were so pleased with his work. I took their advice and I could not be happier. He is very friendly and such a perfectionist. I live only five minutes from where he previously practiced. When he relocated to Gloucester I didn't think twice about making a 45 minute ride because I'm so pleased with him and his work. Rob Hager

Very light touch on the cleaning, thank you! (Though I have been brushing with Sensodine ever since my last cleaning, which may help.) First dentist in years who hasn't tried to sell me a big appliance of some sort or another, which I appreciate more than I can say.

The warmth and care from Harbor Cove makes me relaxed and comforted. The staff is very professional yet "down to earth" and seem to care about their clients. I recommend Harbor Cove to everyone I meet! Great quality care!
