I had their specialty Dry Pepper Chicken and pan fried chicken dumplings for an appetizer. I bought an amazing beef roll to go. It was made from succulent slightly fatty beef stuffed with onions rolled in a scallion pancake. I had planned on having it the next day but couldn't resist eating half as soon as I got home. Best Chinese food in NYC...no lie. Everything was superb. Didn't have that msg feeling afterwards, or that really full bloated feeling, then starving 3 hours later. Just a delightful surprise. However, the wait is for the birds. They need to do reservations. We did wait one hour, at least, and then when we answered our text to sit down, the maitre'd wanted to seat us at a community table. A tiny spot with 2 tables pushed together. Ummm, no thanks.
I really liked my Dan Dan Noodles. There was enough for my dinner too. Love the building. Going back soon.
